Killer Flu

Does the killer flu have to be a killer?

According to some experts the killer flu is going to kill millions of people worldwide in the next few years but according to other experts this is not actually the case. There are plenty of people who think that the killer flu can be stopped with a little preparation and care.

The killer flu that is making the rounds this time is the killer flu of the bird variety. You should note that this killer flu is being given to people who have actually come into contact with birds. There are very few occasions where the killer flu has gone from person to person. And you should also know that the vast majority of killer flu cases have occurred in Asia so if you have nothing to do with birds and you live in North America or Europe or Australia you are probably not going to be getting hit with the killer flu anytime soon.

Bit back to the experts who claim that a killer flu pandemic can be avoided. Their theory is that if the killer flu outbreak is caught and contained in time it can be kept from spreading all over the entire world.

There has been at least some success when it comes to the containment of the killer flu in that millions of birds have been killed to try to stop the spread of the killer flu. This so far has worked in that there are very few provinces that are affected with this killer flu now.

Of the countries that have been affected by the killer flu Thailand has been the best at containing the problem. This is because they actually have some pretty good killer flu protocols in place. For example they have people stationed all over the country whose job it is to simply keep watch for anyone exhibiting the symptoms of the killer flu. If and when they see these symptoms they will make sure that the person gets medical treatment.

There are so many people there who do this every single day and if only other countries could get these types of volunteer their cases of killer flu could be contained and avoided as well. This is a simple solution that can be done with minimal expense and the best part is that the killer flu can be watched for without having to have doctors all over the place.
